It's just amazing how far Wichita has come in the past 35-40 years... In July of '87, the Sedgwick County Commission banned them from playing at the Kansas Coliseum.  I hope none of you were adversely affected by that "devil music".

A scheduled July 10 concert by Motley Crue in Wichita's Kansas Coliseum has been canceled by the Sedgwick County Commission. After listening to two hours of debate between church agents and rock fans Wednesday night, the commission decided not to take any chances and voted to bar the band.
