making friends already

Kansas State may have been a perfect fit for the inaugural Pinstripe Bowl in many ways, but one difference must be reconciled.

"I hated the Yankees," said Carson Coffman, K-State's senior quarterback.

Over time, Coffman said, his feelings toward the Yankees evolved from hatred to simple dislike, a spectrum of emotions many of his teammates share.

He must be a Red Sox fan...don't tell him Manhattan, Kansas was founded as New Boston, Kansas.

I would suggest staging a fake interview with him after the game, bus the team back to their charter flight at JFK, and then tell him plans have changed and put him on a taxi to La Guardia with a ticket to Fargo and $20 per diem.

I think that would be fair.

What if we win and he swivel hips the entire team to victory?  And fixes the defense while landing 2 5 star JUCO D-tackles?

Send him to Milwaukee instead of Fargo.
