Since the root cause of Mexico's problems is Mexicans (in a way very much analagous to the true and correct view that the root cause of crime is criminals) we're going to have to do something about the existing population.  Where do you suppose we'll send them?

I am all for stopping the war.  I don't even do any drugs.  I would like to see all that money better spent and for our country to at least benefit from something that is already taking place(drug use).

Saw 60 minutes(or some such show) this week.  They had a deal on Tenn or Kentucky(don't remember which), but they said that the illegally grown weed in their mountains is equal to 3x the state's tobacco crop.

All that weed is getting planted, harvested, processed, bought, sold, and used already.  There is a lot of money being lost by the gov in keeping their head in the sand.
