your comment deserved ridicule chiefly because you asserted that ellis was overranked due to playing against inferior hs competition when, bossi aside, those doing the ranking have never seen him play hs bball, and don't give a rat's ass what his hs stats or competition were.
secondarily, because playing against inferior competition doesn't make you a bad player. additionally because there are quality hs players in kansas, and quality hs teams in kansas.
it's not really a reason your comment was stupid, but it was also ironic that you chose to express your thoughts about kansas hs bball with the phrase "6'3" white guys" at a time when there's a top 100 (and prolly underrated) 6'3" white guy playing hs bball in wichita.
