Well, Cole and Xavier have only been in the league for one year.  Marcus and Markieff haven't had a chance to play yet thanks to the NBA lockout.  When was the last time K-State had someone drafted in the NBA?

Dunno wasn't on twitter when I made the post.  I got that from reading this thread.  I can tell you that at the time of the tweet Perry was in a room here at Heights.  So if Davis wasn't guessing someone from one of the schools told him.  Huge dick move to tweet that when he did, absolutely a breach of protocol.

yeah. He's getting attacked pretty good on twitter over it. Also a weird Jenn Bates vs. Goodman fight has broke out.

I like Fonda Ellis, but I know that it rubbed some of the recruiting guys the wrong way & my gut says they dropped him a bit in rankings.

Some people speculated that it was Evan Daniels.  These guys are completely out of control, there's nothing wrong with how Fonda handled Ellis' recruitment.  Why are some of these guys butt hurt about an involved mother?

Huge pick-up for Kansas to land Perry Ellis. He should've announced earlier, though. Didn't get the best advice on how to handle recruiting.

Can someone clue me in as to what these guys problem is?  Honestly I have no clue, no one here in Wichita had a problem with Perry, Fonda, his recruitment, his elimination process, his selection, nothing.  National guys seem to have problems with pretty much the entire process.

The national media hates handlers.  Why?  Because coaches hate handlers.  Anyone with a "handler" is "dirty" or is "getting bad advice."  Literally everyone.

If you were a kid making an important life decision worth potentially upwards of as much as $100 million, would you get a handler?  The amount of butthurt white privilege in national college sports coverage is astounding.  These guys all pretty much just spout coach's consensus and it has gotten very annoying.

If he was told the info off the record, he committed an ethical breach. Otherwise, it's fair game. He's a journalist -- it's his job to tell the public what he knows, and do it before any other journalist or news organization. I agree that Seth Davis is a douche though.

TY for the first non-twitter/PE post in the last day. Looking forward to continued reading on Macon, Cauley, or whatever Canadian JUCO we find to fill our '12 scholly after any additional KITNs. Also, I'm still not totally pro-Cauley, but his recruitment was totally worth it for that pic of Frank with Cal. Was brutal though, by making me think how much more awesome football would be if Frank replaced OB.
