Yeah, while Carter sounds like a good player, most of his offers and interest were mid-majorish. I think our interest here probably had a lot to do with maintaining the Pullen/Proviso East good vibes. (That's why I pointed out Carter wore #0). Granted, Pullen's interest at the same point in his career was fairly similar, but he still appeared to be appeared a slightly more sought after player than Carter. FWIW, Pullen had offers from Xavier, Nebraska, Iowa St, St. Louis before choosing KSU over Dayton.
My final thought here is that I've been slightly disappointed that KSU hasn't really attempted to tap more into the Meanstreets program(Pullen's AAU team), they always seem to churn out players(Anthony Davis, Kendrick Nunn) but the KSU Cats just haven't appeared to really go after that pipeline.
