Does he really need to sell anything anymore?

disgusted that smart wasn't playing, i bet.

pretty important piece lacking in that tweet is who was on offense on that side of the court first half (unless that is what they meant by the Cauley part)

I would be willing to bet that we offered Forte knowing that KU would soon do the same. We're going to back off recruiting him while talking him up, KU picks him up thinking they're stealing him from us, then we laugh in their face.

I don't think there is a legitimate spot for him at either sans Smart.  Would hate for KU to get Smart.

I'll have a pretty serious meltdown if he goes to KU.  I generally don't give a eff about what ever elite players but I <3 Smart.

Might as well sign them both up now, so long as the big is super skinny and the wing can't shoot.  Right fit and all.

we can probably look for singer to make an appearance in the 2013 thread at some point.

From AAU Nationals in Orlando, Haughton, K. Hill('13), and just for good measure, Sam Singer, who I know is still eagerly awaiting his appearance in the '13 thread.

not sure if serious  :dubious: also I love highlight vids where right after the amazing play happens the camera man goes crazy and the video gets all shaky and blurry cause the cameraman is high fiving his bros and saying stuff like "oh no he didn't"

not literally serious, but i think his block against dream vision was the only time i've seen a below the rim block on a dunk attempt.  he's no bunnies jr.

i don't know where to put this, so i'll stick it here.

 :horrorsurprise:

I wanted him so hard before this. Now my desire for him to land here is off the charts.

No Smart for that game though.

arizona guy that was there says smart did play.  great win for mokan elevates them to co-minks with the 27-2 76ers (link).

Forte update from the Slant, reports latest recruitment/offers:

"Kansas, Iowa, K-State, USC and Villanova are the newest schools that I've heard from," said Forte. "Kansas, Iowa and K-State are the schools the newest schools to have offered scholarships."

Forte goes on to say ku is his "dream school", update also says he's been offered by UNC and Texax, which I have not seen reported anywhere else and am very skeptical about.

Forte's dad  is a big dude, he's about 6'3 or so, the younger Forte got effed in the genetics lottery.

Genetics may have effed him but it appears that his folks compensated for that by having the foresight to raise him in an environment where he could become the hoops playin bff of Marcus Smart and get some pretty sweet offers to further strengthen their bffness along the way.

may not take all five officials.

from comments:

"Obviously, as a K-State fan, I hope he ends up at my alma mater. But if we can't have him, I sincerely hope he chooses KU, because I love seeing our in-state talent sticking it through here. Needless to say, I'm rooting for Frank and Associates to land this promising recruit! "

It should read, "As a K-state fan, I hope he ends up at my alma mater.  But if we can't have him, I sincerely hope a meteor that Perry Ellis is riding to UNC obliterates KU, because I love seeing our in-state talent sticking it through there.
