just some worthless information...willie cauley is playing football this year.  apparently he's been unstoppable at wr.  bball coaches are pissed.  fball coach doesn't give a crap, wants to figure out how to use willie as much as possible (i see a jump ball offense in their future).  willie doesn't particularly like to play bball...it's his 3rd favorite sport.  if he can somehow play his way into a d1 fball scholly, he will jump at it.  just what i'm hearing, thought i would share, probably all lies and bullcrap

I'm still alittle gunshy after your the royals will NOT draft bubba in the first round predicto.  Squawk meter is showing extra activity.

This is such a horseshit statement. Cauley is gosh darned 6'10" tall. Can you name another 6'10" player in College Div I football? You can't because they don't exist because they're not athletic enough for that size to fit into a proper position. A 6'10" wide receiver would be an absolute joke.

What a joke of a statement by fuktard.

Don't we have a receiver who is 6'8"?  Diff is only 2".

i love the venom...excellent, excellent.  but i'm not exaclty sure what my horseshit staemtement was.  i don't believe i said he HAD a d1 scholarship, i don't even remember saying that he would start for his high school.  i'm not sure on either one, never seen the kid play, am just repeating what i heard.  don't let that stop you from continuing to pound my ass....asspounder

"Surprise standout in seven-on-seven

When Olathe Northwest needs to go up top in the end zone they have one of the best targets in Willie Cauley. Known best for his basketball abilities, Cauley was a surprise player and in the few minutes we watched he hauled in three touchdown catches.

Cauley, who is one of the top center prospects in basketball for the 2012 class, was a tough match-up for opposing corners. It is unclear what his future will be next year on the gridiron, but he turned a lot of heads today."

http://jucojunction.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1228261

OK, so he's decent at football and if he wants to play it his SR yr of HS, that's fine, I'm all for the youngsters challenging themselves in a competitive environment as many ways as possible.

But seriously he's 6'10"(at least) with long arms and outstanding athleticism for his size. He doesn't have to develop a lot offensively and he can still carve out a career in the NBA. I obviously can't say what his motives are for playing or not playing particular sports, and based on some of his past actions I think he just likes to eff with people, but the sooner he realizes hoops is his calling, the better off he'll be.

the amount of money you can earn, if you're an elite bball player, dwarfs the career earnings of an elite fball player.
the amount of money you can earn, if you're an average bball player, dwarfs the career earnings of an average fball player.

only complete dumbasses and bad bball players play fball, cauley doesn't fall into either of those categories.

Serious question. I know that scouts praise his defensive ability and his ability to run the floor but at the same time they talk about his need to develop..... What makes him an elite prospect. If anything I'd designate him as the KC version of JHR or Diaz.

Being 6-11 and able to run the floor makes you pretty elite. (JHR can not run the floor, not sure about Diaz other than he isn't as developed as Cauley physically and no one really saw him play AAU IIRC).

I'll give you some props for creating something to discuss on this slow day, but if you actually think that Cauley can be a legit WR at the Div I level than you're a dumbass. I would assume Willie could display some great skills at the high school level and could pull it off, but that's freaking high school dude. The corners are probably 5'7 caucasian fuktard's out there.

As an example, Southern Miss has a receiver who is 6'8" and looks fairly decent out there. But he is extremely limited in his abilities and his sole value on the field is for entertainment.

I'd love to hear Hatter's perspective on creating a 6'10" LT.......

Purdue had a 6'10 WR for a few years, it was kind of a novelty act, he never really produced much.. They threw some jump balls in the endzone a few times and IIRC he had a decent career, but yeah he never was a full time starter or anything..
