Ok imagine this.

Rambo from first blood (not the other Rambos, cuz well they dont compare) comes to KSU got all those cool skills.  Gets the heart of original Rocky (again, only the origin story Rocky.  Not the sell outs) cuz this kid will flat out compete.

And,

AND he can play ball.

That is Marcus Smart

I wish he would be a Sooner though but Frank "Mad Dog" Martin would make him even deadlier and well perhaps cooler.  Like Scar Face and Godfather combined deadly cool.

I cant sleep at night cuz of this crap.

After reading this tuff, I feel like I won't be able to carry on if we don't get Smart.

I agree so long as he is a "good fit."

Today is first day that college coaches can get back on the road and see players at their schools. Interesting to see who really wants who.

would that some media person would tell us who kstate is visiting.

sigh, a tear.

oops.  apparently they can only contact 2011s.  so, really the staff already stole any potential joy from the fans before the media could get a chance.

better luck next time, media.

watched him do what, exactly?  eat breakfast and hop on the school bus?  there's not any organized ball being played in the morning right now is there?

they watch them workout.  It's really just to be seen more than anything.  My favorite workout evaluation moment is Jeff Capel on twitter after watching Harrison Barnes doing sprints.

at the time it seemed like shameless sucking off of a recruit.  but in light of ou's subsequent season, i think there were notes of "i rough ridin' hate my tc, fp, etc. team" coming through as well.

Yes, great point.  Makes the moment even more special, IMO.

So, since '11 is done, the coaches can now just follow Smart around and tell him how awesome he is, right?  Maybe "accidently" drop some envelopes of cash near him?  Thinking maybe 'Te500k can just pull up an RV in front of the kids house and live there for the next year or so?

Seton Hall has recently offered (Ian) Baker, a cerebral 6-foot-1 combination guard, a scholarship. Potential Division-I suitors such as West Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Kansas State have all expressed significant interest in Baker.

This article was actually linked here a couple mos back, it's just been slightly re-worked with the only new info being that Seton Hall has offered Baker. If you want to rehash through all the details, just follow the link.

If you combined smarts motor and killer instincts with hornbeak's hops and what not.  Michael Jordan would look like Vincent carter. Mainly smart's motor though
