You could also get the United Explorer for 50k but it will depend on what they target you for (not as valuable as the ink but less spend requirement). See first post of this thread:

sys, you should also start getting the US Air card before it goes away. mrs. dave and I have each gotten it three times in the last year or so. It's only 35k now but you only have to use it once. They will be transferable to AA probably within the next year and will eventually become AA miles.

LCCCIQ question here. So basically in a year you and Mrs SD have applied for and cancelled the same card 3 times and gotten the bonus each time?

yes, you can get it about every 4 months. I've gotten it, used it, cancelled it about 4 months in, and gotten it about a month after I cancelled it. that's what a credit card "churn" is. if you explore the early days of this thread you will see RD and I doing this with 100k and 75k AA cards and partying 24/7.

canceling a card just before the fee hits. Canceling one card 3 times in one year is pretty

Yeah, lots of people get scared about cancelling cards. It's important to remember that you are on the phone with a HS dropout in a call center that does not give a eff.

remember when I said I had a million dollar idea for a website thing that did this about a year back in this thread? when this gets the bugs worked out it will basically be it (but for only one program). very cool.

it'll have to be low key to last long. I liked when milewise and pointhub just started and could go bonkers before they got their @trimgoemaw letters. I'm sure there are elite secret ones that do it now. bet lucky has access.

i just cancelled my united card, which is why i need a new chase. i'm on my second us air. barclay's is the best (although/because Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!)).

Wednesday is the last day to book Hilton rewards under the old rates. GLON awards are also going away. AXON awards will stay but they haven't announced at what redemption rates. They no longer align with relevant hotel categories so I'll be interested to see how they change it. They are adding a 5th night free on award redemptions similar to SPG.
