How Many Credit Cards Do You Have?

So the only miles card I've done is the SW chase card. Which card should I go for next?

I would start by reading the last 5 pages or so.  then decide from that.

The past 5 pages are all hotels. I want airlines 

Prolly just gonna go with the Chase Sapphire Preferred

that's a good one. you could also get a couple AA cards

The offers I'm finding on the AA cards are only for 30k. Am I missing the good ones?

if you fly domestic or Mexico on AA routes, I'd find a way to snag every British Airways mile I could.   They rock.

BA miles are worse domestic depending on where you are flying too, dumbass

I didn't say I was worried about it, I was trying to figure out how much actual value was left after the annual fees.

beware the Virgin Atlantic card, the points are NOT at a 1:2 ratio as originally thought

I didn't see a confirmation on there anywhere where anyone said they only got a 1:1 ratio.  I saw where Virgin says it's 1:1 but they've been saying that all along.  It doesn't matter what they say, only what Hilton puts in your account and it looks like Hilton has been crediting 1:2...unless I'm missing something.

everyone I've seen that's transfered to Virgin has still gotten 2:1.  I wouldn't worry about it.

MCI > JFK    19,500Avios   or 25k AA
MCI > PDX    15,000Avios  or 37.5k AA


Bottom line round trip the cheapest you will fly anywhere in NA on AA is 25k miles.  Avios is 9k.

the citi hilton two browser is what stands out the most to me. a couple could get 180k hhonors every three months or so with no fees and pretty minimal spends. 720k in a year. then every eighteen months just skip the citi hhonors and do citi aa two browser.

Just cancelled my first card before fee hit.  they weren't really mad at me. Looking for new card, non travel related, I have the no annual fee Sapphire (100k points  ). Any suggestions?
