you can be an authorized user on a CSR and still qualify for a CSP signup bonus, as long as you haven't received any Sapphire signup bonus in the last 48 months.

it's the highest it's been. but there is speculation that bonuses are going to be high for a bit. I don't know what that's based on because I don't follow the stuff much like I used to but that was a headline anyway.

Just got the 80k CSP a couple months ago.

if i cancel it how long do i have to wait to be eligible for the CSP 100k?

like, i just applied for a chase sapphire preferred kind of just for fun and they said they need more time to review my application.

not really. maybe a point or two for a short time. call chase right now at 1-888-245-0625 and ask them what their problem is. usually that's all it takes to get approved.

EDIT: i see Chase has raised the annual fee for the CSR from $450 to $550, and kept the yearly travel credit at $300. So the net fee went from $150 to $250 per year.

CSP yearly fee is still $95 (and no yearly travel credit)

i think i will just keep my CSR because it earns me approx a billion UR's per year

it gives you a credit for anything classified as travel

Yeah, you don’t do anything. You’ll just see a credit next to the first spend for travel (Uber, flights, cabs, hotels, airbnb, it’s a broad definition) until you hit the cap.

My CSP expired two months ago. They never sent me a new one. I tried to sign up for the CSP last night and got DENIED. The card still shows up as active in my Chase portal. I want the CSR, but would take the CSP if the 100K bonus is available. What should I do? I need something new to give me a quick fix and lift my spirits.

bad news, you won't qualify since you technically still have the CSP.
