Got the email telling me I have two free nights. I see the award in my Hyatt account.

How do I book it? Website won't let me because I don't have enough points. Do I have to call?

Make sure you're only booking 2 nights w/them.  In other words, if you're trying to book a 4-night stay w/2 free, book the 2 free on 1 reservation and book the 2 paid/points on another.

I just did this for Nashville.  If you have the free night in your account, you go to book just that night w/points and the option will show up to use that free night.  I then made a separate reservation for the next 2 nights w/points.

Go to your account, click on the My Awards tab, scroll down, click the + on the free nights, click Explore Hotels, in the drop down menu pick free night.

Booking Hyatt award nights/point stays has been a huge clusterfuck for me.  I've had to call them every time.  Last time I called them, they told me that there were no rooms available to book on points.....I politely told them their website showed that there were.  The lady on the other end of the line paused for a moment and then said, "Well.....I guess you are right.".

The only time I've struggled booking a hyatt free night was when I was trying to do it on an ipad from the hyatt lobby immediately before I'd walk up to the check-in desk.  Turned out they were full, but I got a room at the other hyatt across the street

I started with the website but it wasn't working.  To be fair, I was booking a reservation with a combo of award nights and nights paid for via points.  Could have been the problem.

yes, confirmed. don't transfer them until you know a saver AA award is available though.
