Just got bitch slapped by Chase 5/24 while trying to get SW Companion Pass. Cleared the bonus for the SW Plus, then signed up for the SW Premier and they said no go.

I guess I could apply for the SW Business card.

If Ms. Nicname gets a SW Plus and clears the bonus can she transfer all the pts to me and then I get companion pass?

The United passes they are issuing now say that you must have a boarding pass for that day.

no, they just make sure you're actually flying. I've used them multiple times on other carrier tickets.

Well the old ones did not have that restriction on them. It is only the new ones that they've sent out within the last 4 months or so. Are you sure you were using a new one?

The drinks we tried were flat from the soft drink machine and they do not allow outside food so we went out to eat and came back. Then we realized they don't have bathrooms so you might want to use a bathroom while you go eat outside. Overall this lounge is average and meant to just sit for an hour or two while you wait for your flight so don't expect the most and then you won't be disappointed.

A list of what they have in the lounge
-Seats/chairs/tables
-One tv on the wall
- Few drinks
-Few snacks
-A Printer

Got an offer to upgrade my amex biz gold to amex biz plat and get 50k MR after spending $10k in 5 months and another 25k for spending an additional $10k. Can get it even if you've had the biz plat before. Pretty great. pro-rating the $450 fee as well.

i still have my csr from november, when do i need to quit before i get hit with another annual fee? could i use my the 1.5x bonus points i got for a ticket, and refund if i don't use it?

You can wait for the annual to hit and then cancel and they will refund. I don't think the ticket idea would work. You could just get a CSP and transfer the points there for a lower fee?

on tuesday, the guy in front of me at chipotle paid with his csr. he obviously got instant respect from me. the worker guy at the register had to have been boner city usa when he rang up consecutive orders with csr's. i just smiled and thought to myself, "yep, throw another 24 points on the UR pile, bro"

thats a good idea, still counts 1.25 for travel at least.

i use barclaycard arrival plus, i can't justify the $450, even factoring in the sexiness of the card. i should get another $300 travel credit though?

Two ink cards at 80,000 bonus pts each, 2 csr at 100,000 bonus pts each, 1 csp at 50,000 bonus pts.

The ink card earns me about 30,000ish points/mo, plus whatever my personal cards earn me.
