i think i have over a million miles now (united and aa, including wife's). it feels good, but i need to start burning some.

Sys I've learned that having a kid makes it harder than it used to be to use them. But suddenly I value SW miles which I used to mock. What a stupid world we live in.

But you are using hotel points at twice the rate because you have to book 2 rooms everywhere you go.

i don't think it's worth the transfer fee. how fast do you need 7k miles? you should just knock out the spend on a citi gold for the 25k miles if you have a month or so and aren't in a blackout window.
