did you complain about something? sometimes they will credit back all or part of your stay if you did.

At least he has a window. I did Atlanta to Johannesburg (and back) two different times in coach with a window seat. Now, I'll grant you that I was assisted by a nearly incapacitating amount of Xanax and Woodford, but still. Middle would have been a death sentence. He really dodged a bullet there.

I flew DFW-Tokyo earlier this year on AA with an older 777 and the 2-5-2 seating arrangement. Luckily we had a '2' section but there were people trapped in the middle of the 5 seats for 14 hours.

It looked worse than it sounds.
