If you just do one trip per year you can probably do one southwest card and one hotel card per year and be good to go. If you don't want to get new ones the csp is probably the best.
But you would need a new bonus each year so the two of you would alternate years on who gets it.
I would get a SW card for the bonus to use on flights and you could keep csp to rack up hotel points depending on where you want to go.

Need a new card I can bonus on wedding spend.  I am at 180k AA miles and would like to continue to dump into that for a couple first class round trips somewhere cool.  I am including the AA 75k bonus card I recently got in that number so I think a straight AA is out of the question.  Maybe a chase card that transfers well?

chase ur don't transfer to aa.  if you're temporarily overlimit on aa and usair cards, i think you need to start accumulating united miles.  might wait till october to see if the rumored 70k ink internet application comes out.

Ahhh.  United is convenient for being in CO area but I don't know how long that is going to be the case.

May have GF sign up for the 2 SW 50k cards and work towards a companion pass.  She was my companion for the last 2 years and I can be hers the next 2.  Doesn't really mean dream vacation but we would still get a lot of use from it.

Are the AA cards still churnable every ~18 months, or has that gone the way of the SPG once-per lifetime bonus?

If UA does the 70k, that may be an option

Don't they kinda eff you on one-way tickets though?  Like 50% more than half of a round trip ticket?

USAir still does for a little while longer as well. Those are the only domestics that do, though.

Anyway I'm not sure what's so funny but I'm getting the feeling you guys can't do math.  Like if a regular round trip ticket is $500, it would seem logical the one-way is $250, but they always get you for more in my experience, like $350.
