OK, I actually did that...and I thought it was supposed to send me an email whenever I get a message in there but apparently not because I just checked and I got a reply.

They say my friends have to call an 800 number.

Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards account and he/she is
approved, the new member will receive an enrollment bonus
and you will earn 5,000 points.

But it doesn't say how many points my friends are going to get. Why can't they just make it easy and give me a referral link like they did for TTHHCOSHJSTYGHQ?

Well it turns out my friends are all losers who think that getting a credit card just for the points is evil or something (just interpreting the "Nope" and head shakes when I made the suggestion)...all except the one who probably can't afford the trip or the minimum spend anyway.

I've never had any other ID theft stuff but for my sapphire card getting f'd with for the 2nd time now.  New one probably won't be here in time to run up a big bar tab on Saturday.  WTF is their problem?  They need to give out 50K bonuses on replacement cards.

i think it was just like a personal cc where you either get instant approved or they tell you they need to human review it and they'll send a letter.  it's hard to remember.

but you applied in person at a branch?  that may make it all different

a few random comments.

just finished off the spend on a csp and started in on a couple of uniteds.  the new chase churning policy is so reinvigorating.

just counted and realized i'm up to 14 cards between my wife and myself.  it's starting to get a little overwhelming.  i prolly need to try to organize the process in some way.

barclays is such a pain in the ass to deal with.  with no exaggeration, they get at least 50% of customer service stuff wrong in one way or another.  just noticed that they still haven't issued a credit to offset the fee on my wife's usair that the service rep said he'd be happy to take care of when i called two months ago.  have had the exact same thing happen with them before.  it's almost enough to make me not want to deal with them.  with the new chase churnability, i can probably direct all my spend to chase and citi without wasting any of it.  but it feels stupid to not take advantage of the stupidest bank out there - at least as long as usair still exists.

As long as you use your chase card as a daily driver why would they give a crap? Don't they make money on every single transaction? I have like six billion transactions a month

they wouldn't, but for those of us with a dozen or more cards it's hard to put regular spend on all of them.    i'll have to be more vigilant in spreading the love around.
