So the way I'm reading it is you can get a new SW bonus as soon as it hits 24months since you last received the bonus on your SW account from chase. Looks like it's perfect for keeping the companion pass. Now I just gotta figure out when I got those damn bonuses

Bought my second tank if gas today and used my southwest card instead of my freedom card. I mean why do I even have freedom if I'm not gonna use it during the 5x gas quarter?

I know this was mentioned some earlier in the thread but I'm curious re. the new amex one bonus in a lifetime does that mean after they rolled that out this spring you can get all the bonuses again one time or are they going back years ago to when I got some bonus and counting that? I'm sure it's in that million page FT thread but I don't want to read it. someone else do it. mikey you do it. then tell me here. tia.

yeah, like last december. i appreciate you making me try to feel better about my poor decision making but in this case theres really no justifying it. i use my southwest card for just about everything. its time to give SPG a try... just need to cancel something.

yeah, it was just the last card i got and after i met the min spend i just kept putting stuff on it. my flying consisted of flying to MCI-MDW and back about every third week. i no longer do that, or fly at all, really. its time for a new card, though. dont have any trips planned right now... i have about 20K SW and 15K UR. 

heres the list:

delta (cancelled before fee)
united (cancelled before fee)
american (need to cancel or churn? got in sept 2013)
freedom
sapphire preferred (got in august 2013 and havent paid fee on yet)
southwest (got in november 2013 and have already paid fee but another coming up in november)

i attempted to get southwest business in january of this year and didnt have any luck. have pretty much stopped paying attention since...

Get a US Air 40k and an AA 50k (if they let you get another one, may want to cancel that one). $3k spend requirement on AA. one use of US Air. Will have 93k AA miles once you're done (and once the programs merge)

I have not. I don't know if I like the idea of some place sending me 6 bottles of mystery wine a month. You can get 7 UR points per $ spent at wine.com through the UR portal though. That would be what I'd do if you want to earn miles buying wine. That way you can pick what you want instead of rolling the dice on getting trash that they can't sell.
