Got up to 20,000 miles on my Southwest CC and it's totally paid off. Been paying for a few bills with it to rack up points and pay it off right away with my debit card.  I've got this you guys. Next flight is free.

i've heard stories of people that signed up for five barclays cards on the same day and got all five. the key i think is to sign up one right after the other. don't wait a week.

I was able to book a flight to Pensacola last week (trip is in May) for 9k, but today I looked flights to both NYC and Vegas and they weren't 9k.

Downtown Chicago Fairfield going up to category 6 on 3/15, taking it out of category 5 for which Marriott gives away free nights like they're nothing.

the downtown river north fairfield now looks like it's going to be the only marriott cat 5 in downtown chicago. location is just as good though and i doubt you can get rooms any smaller than the downtown one that just changed to cat6. potato/potatoh. just don't try to take a cab ride back from a cubs game w/ clams and you'll be alright.
