Amazing we won 7 games, even if most were against bad teams.  5.92 yards per rush is an amazing number.  This has got to be one of the worst BCS league rush defenses ever.

Somebody who has access HAS to show this to the tards. It'll destroy any remaining arguments they have. Cosh is now even worse than Tibesar. Amazing.

Also worth noting is that our run defense is only better than Eastern Michigan and New Mexico, which are two of the worst teams in all of 1-a.

Let this sink in. THE ENTIRETY OF THE SUN BELT AND WAC CONFERENCES HAVE BETTER RUSHING DEFENSES THAN KSU. Plus, all of the MAC except one team has better rushing defenses. This isn't a talent issue, folks. Bill could spend the entire offseason gulping down Metamucil and sitting on the pot yet he and WRSOAT would still bring in better defensive talent than what's in the Sun Belt. If the majority of our fanbase can't see that this is a huge problem that starts at the top, then they're never going to get it.

Just in case you wanted more...

5.9 yards per rush also is the worst EVER in the history of the Big 12; edging out 97 BU's 5.8 and 02 KU's 5.8.

Wow.

And yes, I did post these numbers over there.

America thanks you.

If nothing else, the 7 wins show that Snyder still can produce somewhat amazing results despite the odds (and his own staff's incompetence) working massively against him. I know that this schedule is crap, but with these types of defensive numbers we should be 4-8 at best. I'd be sad to lose his ability to get the best out of his players, especially if we regressed and got a Prince-esque underachiever on our next hire. However, Bill either has to undergo a wholesale change in his attitude towards assistants or we will permanently be stuck in the same 5-7 to 7-5 purgatory that he has kept us in since he lost his best assistants. Considering how stubborn he is, I just don't see that happening.

I keep reading about the cac schedule and weak Big 12 this year.  Our schedule is 41 in the country, the Big 12 is ranked 2 points below the Pac 10 and 1+ point below the SEC, more than 3+ points above Big Televen , ACC and Big Least.

Our defense is/ was  horrid beyond comprehension but the schedule was not as  easy as some portray it when compared to others on a national level.

This may be true, but aside from UCF we lost to all of the good teams.

O'Leary was overly conservative.  He kicked field goals when he should have just gone for it.

If I'm not mistaken they missed a couple of field goals too.

To be fair, that was Manbeck that tweeted that.
