maybe luked, but here's some footage on Hurt. they talk about him exclusively for a bit at the 6 min mark. he looks kind of slow footed but he is big and seems to have good touch.

Honest question: Who's the last JUCO transfer to have an impact in the Big 12?

that's a good question. i'm sure there's been a few but none really stick out in recent years. mario little is the only one i can think of that's somewhat recent.

although imo Hurt is a little different than the usual JUCO

Kenny Chery is making an impact for Baylor this year. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/66296/kenny-chery

Pierre Jackson and Tyrus McGee. Last big Ricardo Ratliffe. :dunno:

Hurt is really dependent on what kind of shape he is in. Has a lot of tools, great passer, good set shot out to the 3pt line, great touch around the rim, good hands and elite size. He not a great athlete but its hard when you are that big.

Kenny Chery, Baylor: Baylor’s frontline looks awesome, with Isaiah Austin, Cory Jefferson and Rico Gathers all back in the fold. The backcourt, on the other hand, will be the big question. Pierre Jackson and A.J. Walton graduate. Deuce Bello and L.J. Rose transferred. That leaves a hole for Kenny Chery, a product of State Fair Community College (Mo.), to fill this season as he looks to follow in the footsteps of Jackson, who went from being a JuCo transfer to a first-team all-Big 12 performer.

If i had to compare Hurt to someone it would be DeMarcus Cousins a less athletic Cousin but a better shooter.

any info on how Hurt & Harris are doing this season?

Harris has been doing Tre things, shooting the cover of the ball. It appears he is around about 15 points per game for the 2nd ranked NextUp Top 10 national poll team. If you look at the individual game recaps he seems to always be hitting a crucial three.

http://www.fishburnepgbasketball.org/scheduleresults/

But the most important thing with Tre Harris is how is body is coming along and I can't find anything on that.

If conditioning is still an issue after being on campus for over a year without being able to play a game by the time he is actually eligible to play, that is a coach/staff issue.
