ESPN Top 60

8. Lyle
45. Bates-Diop
58. Custer. I knew he was solid, didn't realize he was 4* top 60 material, very impressive.

I would assume Conner Frankamp being commitment to ku gives us a leg up on Cluster. Really believe have more than a solid chance of landing him.

if i still cared, i would want custer more than any player in the 13 and 14 classes (now that freeman is off the table).

it means when was the last time you saw KU offer a scholy to a mokan?

Gentile or Jew, the kid can ball.

MOKAN affiliation might be our best shot here.

CHET!   :excited:

DeAnte' Mitchell ?@CollegiateHoops
Kansas St now involved with Baltimore Poly (MD) PG John Crosby '14, Kenwood (MD) PF Trevis Buckhannon '14 & St. Frances (MD) PG Kurk Lee '15

Kline re: Crosby, who currently has offers from So. Fla. and Rutgers:

"Stanford, Ohio State, Kansas State, Washington, Indiana, North Carolina, Miami(FL) and Rutgers really interest me," he said. Crosby is also interested in South Florida due to their rise in the Big East, as well as their tempting location.

By the end of the summer, the Team Melo guard may wind up as one of the top players in the state of Maryland."

4 open ships for '13, 7 definite offers, possibly 8, maybe as many as 10 right now.

3 open for '14, 4 definite offers, possibly 5.

I don't think we have an abnormally high amount of offers out there right now, it might just seem that there has been a lot in the last couple months due to the coaching change, just trying to get the needs and targets established and up to status quo asap.

"John Crosby (Team Melo 2014) – A big, physical point guard at 6’2” Crosby has an amazing feel for the game. He makes great decisions with the ball never panicking under pressure and seemingly always finding the open man. Crosby used smarts and a quick first step to get into the lane repeatedly and once there used a soft floater to score over the top of rotating bigs. Passing is always his first choice though and his drive and kick outs for 3 point attempts were the best offense for Team Melo in their afternoon win."

KSU not mentioned on Crosby's list  :blank:

"John Crosby (Team Melo 2014) – Crosby holds offers from South Florida and Rutgers with interest from North Carolina, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Washington, and Stanford. He acknowledged UNC as his dream school and plans to be on campus for an unofficial visit on Monday. He added that Stanford also stood out to him because of their strong academic reputation and the great relationship he has already sparked with head coach Johnny Dawkins."

Lyle, a 6-foot-4 guard from Bosse (Ind.), is ranked No. 14 in CBSSports.com's class of 2014 rankings. Not surprisingly, several schools are in pursuit of Lyle, with him specifically naming Louisville, Indiana, Purdue, Illinois, Xavier, Ohio State and Michigan State. Kansas State, UCLA, Butler, Kentucky and Kansas are also showing interest.
