Just confirmed that NW Florida State College power forward/center Big Meat (@Swagga_Steve41) has committed to Kansas State.

I'm excited about this kid. He isn't elite, but he should match up well with the puds in the Big XII. We still need a wing in a very bad way. If oscar can find one of those, I will have to prepare myself for the long road to mediocrity, instead of the skydive without a parachute I thought I would have to take.

There are multiple articles out there about Hurt being offered and taking an unofficial visit to IU then deciding against taking an official and cutting them from his list. He was offered by them on his unofficial visit. The same with Tennessee, offered on his unofficial but he cut his list to the 3 you mentioned. There are multiple articles about him on IU and Tennesse sites.

Seems to be a battle between K-State, Michigan and Michigan State. Michigan just picked up a commitment from Kameron Chatman a four star wing, so they might bow out. Michigan State hasn't offered yet. He is visiting K-State for the Baylor game.

Who knows, he did have a unofficial earlier in the year with IU. I heard he was really concerned about how he would fit in with IU players.
