Computer guy question
« on: February 11, 2010, 04:57:10 PM »
When I hit an e-mail link on a website or something it starts to open Outlook 2007 on my PC.  I immediately tell it to GTFOOMF because I've never set it up and don't want to.  How do I get it to go to my gmail instead?

That was the best part of Terry's wild allegations.  I stole insidery stuff about how to run a message board.  pffffttt, ok Terry  :combofan:

Try finding the Outlook 2007 "icon", drag in with your mouse over the trash can "icon" and release.  It will make a cool crinkly paper type of sound and that should maybe help.

Do you use Firefox or Chrome?  If so, you can install extensions that will do this for you.

As LinuxCAT said, Gmail notifier is another option, but it has issues working with Google Toolbar if you use that, too.  But if you use Google Toolbar, there should be a button you can install that will do the same thing.

No.  Going to need to get one of these SOBs if I'm going to stream HD wireless:

Keep procrastinating.  Someone else get it and tell me about it.  Or, I'll get it eventually.

What browser are you using? Some have this option built into it.
