The message needs to be directed at Snyder, point plankn.

Even the spring game seems too far away.  Let's just spend the money on a ton of paint and a keg and send some squawks to go paint our messages all over Vanier.

We could also do a billboard for 4 weeks in Manhattan for about the same price.

I'm intrigued.

Let's KSTATEO up a FIRE COSH billboard.

I'd rather pay more to go all out on a billboard.  We could be MUCH more creative and goEMAW with it, and likely get it before more people.  We could even put them in Manhattan and KC to cover the 2 big spots needed.  For Wichita, all we need is the cost of something that'll fit well hanging off the balcony of the goEMAW World HQ.

Although unlikely, is it possible said banner would harden Bills attitude and make it less likely he would make a change??

Bill isn't the target to initiate the change

Bill would be playing right into our hands if he were to take that posture.  Right into our hands.

I'm fairly certain that LHC Bill Snyder and Greg Robinson are friends.  :horrorsurprise:

Someone should link this thread to the many on GPC that are all bout bill being replaced right now.  I mean, Bate paid something like $5k for beer last year.  Catch that drunk on the right night, and he may pay for the whole damn thing.

If we hired Greg Robinson, I would start donating to the banner before he ever coached a game

Greg Robinson would call for something a little more drastic...like crashing said plane into his house.

I couldn't find the Manhattan market listing on Lamar (they must not have boards in Manhattan), but a 4 week billboard in Topeka is $2500.  There are obviously many cost drivers, and we could cut some corners with the quality of the graphic (just some bold font would suffice).

I know that about a year ago, the prices in KC were about half that, with the recession and all.  I know a couple media buyers, I'll check it out.

I will volunteer the design work and submit designs for your approval.   Just let me know if we're going with Retire Bill, Fire Bill, or Fire Cosh.
Good is better than Evil because it's nicer.

BTW, I don't give a crap if it says ax OBz or Cosh... The billboard idea is just as good IMO. I too will offer some design ideas.

Ya, I get that.  I totally do.

However, (and I think I prolly have had about a bagillion "howevers" on this topic) I don't want to "put off" people that really do feel similarly to us, ya know?  I mean, we don't "recruit" per se, for a reason....but I don't want to create unneeded obstacles to Rick Daris' Truth.

I'm in for the Fire Cosh sign.

Not in on the Bill sign.  I would be though if... A. he doesn't fire Cosh, or B. We have a decent target HC that's actually interested in coming here.

Guess we will find out pretty quickly what kind of AD Currie is.  If he either has balls or expects to be here for an extended period of time he will force Bill to get rid of Cosh.  If he is just here for the paycheck, Cosh will be the DC in the bowl and likely next year.  It's in Currie's court now.
