Tonight's lineup is a real laugher.

Highlight: Elliot Jonhnson starting in RF because Alex Gordon gets the night off and Jarrod Dyson "struggles against lefties."

I really don't understand why position players need nights off. It's not like baseball is a grueling sport. Cal Ripken Jr didn't take a night off until he was almost 40. He might have even been older than 40 (not sure).

Most of the time in Moose's case its because he took too many shots on the plaza.

Seriously though, wtf? This should constitute an immediate firing.  I don't care if managers don't matter, get this clown out of here.

If you get tired of the Royal's RF Eliot Johnson bunting a fly out, you can switch over to ESPN and watch Wil Myers.

Ned Yost: Creating new and exciting ways to get Elliot Johnson and Chris Getz in the game at the same time.

Yeah, but maybe Gordon will return to being a .340 hitter again...  :dunno:

What weird timing.  He had his out during the All-Star Break. When he didn't take it, I figured he'd surely finish the season.

he came here to calm the hosmers, and now that he is leading the team in HRs, avg, and hits, Brett can leave

He came in cause they asked him to and he was bored.  Once he started to travel all the time, he realized how good his life beforehand when he was getting paid to do barely anything.

I'm surprised it lasted that long.
