It's David Glass' pet project. He's got some raw tools and Glass is hoping the organization can push him into atleast an everyday player in the MLB so he can have his PR dream of a homegrown local player.

Also, Escobar cannot be in the two hole any longer. Order should either be Dyson Gordo Butler Hos Salvy or Gordo Butler Hos/Salvy(Either one, interchangeable.

Yost has a hard-on for esky in the 2 hole for some reason. When they moved him down where he needed to be for awhile it worked well but now he's back.

And in no way should dyson be the regular lead off man. He's no better at the top of the order than esky. If moose continues hitting decent the top 5 in the order should be Gordon, Butler, Hoz, Moose, and Salvy in any order.

Sure wish Dyson was more consistent, he would be a great leadoff guy. Then just move everyone down a spot, which I think is best for everyone.

Gordon has a much better OBP than Dyson so it makes sense to keep him at the top. Plus he strikes out way too much (74!) and you want your #2 hitter to put the ball in play. Dyson's speed also helps keep him out of DP's.

LOL, the super quick "No." from RL is classic.

Hudler is a complete moron, but all he was trying to say was, "Imagine how popular Salvy would be if he played in a big market,"...which is a very true point, he just made the point in the worst way possible.

Oh, and since we've digressed to posting 'optimal lineups' I'd go with

Gordon - L
Johnny G - R
Butler - R
Hosmer - L
Perez - R
Moose - L
Cain - R
Lough -L
Escobar - R

I personally don't put a lot of stock into the LRLRLR batting order, but I know Ned does, so I think this is a lineup that he could settle into eventually assuming Escobar stays <.250/.300
