I've been pretty patient with Moose and Yost, and hoped that winning in spite of them was just good fortune and that it would only get better once they got their crap together. It's time. Tejada can't possibly give us worse production than we're getting from Mike. Taking Yost out might just light a fire. It's time.

Agreed, at least as far as Yost goes. Ned's shortcomings are painfully obvious. He constantly and needlessly shuffles lineups (Getz hitting leadoff--LMAO), mismanages starting pitching (leaves battered starters in too long), and stayed committed to Herrera as an 8th-inning guy when everyone knew that was a mistake. The Royals can't wait until the All Star Break to change skippers...and I firmly believe they need to go outside the organization to replace Ned.

Just a gut feeling, but let's stay with Moose for a couple of weeks. If it doesn't work, send him out for awhile. Triple-A can cure alot of ills.

you know what sucks? the two pitchers we got for selling our minor league soul to Tampa Bay only have 5 combined wins out of 19 starts.  :flush:

A lot more is wrong with this team and organization than just that. But at least for now, in the short term scott, that's not a bad point you make, although the last I checked Wil was hitting .244 at AAA. Only time will tell if this was a good deal for KC or not.

Shields is victimized by shitty run support.  He has a 2.47 ERA and .096 WHIP.  It's pretty mumped up that he only has two wins.

Welp, it's time for everyone to pull out the Cheering for my 2nd Fave team Card.

I have like 5 2nd Faves.

Let's go A's, Reds, Rangers, Braves and Nationals!

And 2.5 Faves: Pirates, Blue Jays, Orioles and Giants

(eff anyone else in the AL Central, and double eff the Cards)

I take it the Royals lost again last night?

My 40th bday is coming up on June 29th, and it actually falls on a Saturday :excited:

The wife actually suggested maybe a Royals game that weekend :bang:

I looked at here and said......."are you serious?".......Hopefully they don't have any home games that weekend

I think I would rather sit in my backyard with a cold one and watch my pampas grass grow (or wilt from the summer heat)

On a side note how frustrating must it be for Orioles fans knowing that you've got a really nice team, have one of the best infields in baseball on the defensive side and you've got to slug it out with the Yankee's, Red Sox and Ray's, and then there's the possibility that the Blue Jay's could go on a tear at any time.

makes the royals no-playoffs streak that much more depressing. we've been dealing with the pud AL Central.

Surely the one run game wins/losses has to start evening out. After winning 7 of their first 11 one run games, the Royals have lost their last 8. Plus several close 2-3 run losses as well.

Yeah, but nine safety nets is kind of crazy.

Just popping in to say that I hate watching Cain eff with his gloves in between pitches. Makes me want to punch him in the face. Also makes me think that his concentration could be easily broken all by realizing during the wind up that one of his fingers has 1 nm of space or that there wasn't enough spit on his glove.

Watching him at bat makes me angry.

The only benefit I receive from watching these Royals is that their pathetic play makes me drink more. That said, I really want them to turn it around and start winning. I can always find other reasons to drink more.   :drink:

Guys, the Royals are bad.

This is a current truth, Scott. That said, the Royals have talent and potential. What they lack is leadership (management and players), and ownership that gets what MLB is all about. Let's start by getting a leader in the dugout...Ned is a nice guy, but he's not the answer.

Unfortunately, I don't believe the Glass family understands that. And the family doesn't understand that championship baseball isn't Wal-Mart, or Sam's Club.

When have the Royals been part of the "long ball"??......I always joke w/ the wife when the royals actually hit a home run that they are always "solo" shots, cause everyone else sucks at getting on base.

Out of the above post about only having 28 Hr's, I would like to know how many were solo shots??

Did they win last night???
