Need 88 wins and close to the division title. We really need playoffs the next two years, but I think I'd be okay if we were really close this year and won next year. Would love if we made a play for Dickey somehow, or signed another outfielder.

Considering we started last season 3-14, I see us getting 85. AT THE MINIMUM I'll fill in the blanks later regarding playoffs; don't know what the rest of the division is up to.

Weird contract deal. Minor league contract until a spot is available on the 40 man. Miguel says he's already been assured of a major league roster spot as well, at 2B/utility. I wonder what that means for Gio?

Gio shows glimmers of hope at the plate but the Royals have never been satisfied with his glove.

I get that Gio hasn't show a ton yet but I like him for some reason. If he could just improve to a decent fielder, I think he will be able to contribute enough at the plate to make him worthwhile.

I think he also needs to get better at the plate if he is only going to be a decent fielder.
