holy moly that was a crap show of an offensive performance but thanks to the pitching staff, they may have saved the season. I kept telling Mrs SF Erceg would be fine as long as he didn't throw a fastball right down the middle or hang one to Gallo. Just keep it away and he will strike out. I saw that hanger as soon as it happened and went, "oh no". I thought for sure it was over. Also, i'm currently completely in favor of immediately cutting any player on the team that looks at and strikes out on a perfect pitch right down the middle at this point. I know it's all amplified right now because no one is hitting, but even Rex was getting frustrated last night. WFT are you looking for with 2 strikes? The Nats seemed to know they suck ass right now and were throwing strikes all night. Very frustrating, but still hoping for a breakout right before the WC.
