Does the same apply to Soria?

This team has issues but Herrera is not one of them. guys are allowed to have bad games. get over it.

he was misused.  that's not his fault.

And why is that different?

you're honestly asking the difference between a bad game and a bad season?

I have voiced my frustrations this year.  I honestly want to hear yours, since you haven't been here 'posting' for half a season.

I mean, all the normal Royals fans frustrations are the ones I share. The lack of offense most nights I think is getting too much of a free pass. Its crazy that we're 16 years removed from a Royal with 30 HR. Also the way Soria/Young/Medlin/Duffy/Infante were handled entering the season I believe held us back. But mostly guys just haven't performed.

Quick story time.....my royals traveling crew and I became obsessed with the Shocktop Pretzel Wheat while on a trip to Table Rock in the summer of 2014....Let it be known I hate normal Shocktop.....but anyways.  After that trip we couldn't find it anywhere....until.  September 2014....Royals are making the crazy run to the WC.  We usually always go out to Andrew Zimmer's canteen place with the meat skewers in RF.  What did we see on our way?  A shocktop stand....WITH PRETZEL WHEAT.  As delicious as we remembered it.  So after that...every game.  Down to RF, pretzel wheat.  3rd inning?  another.  Wildcard game....PW.  Every Division game....PW.  Every Championship game....PW.  Every World Series game....PW.  Lose in game 7.....didn't have another that year.  I couldn't.

So low and behold....2015 rolls around, Roys are rolling....we'd still walk by the Shock top stand and give it a quick look but we knew PW wasn't going to be there yet....but you know what fellas?  September 2015?  Guess what was there waiting for us?  Pretzel.  Wheat.  In attendance when we won the division....go out the next day basically to see the division garb around the stadium and pound some PW to the champs......Friend scored me Diamond/crown seats a couple times that September..."excuse me waitresses, no PW?  I'll be back".....So playoffs again....every playoff game...at least one PW.....you see our seats were in the upper deck anyways but for the playoffs we were row PP upper deck.  To head down to RF concourse took some skill and timing to not miss much.  We'd pound those outfield RF stairs two at a time to get back to our seats with our sweet nectar as fast as possible......so World Series rolls around again and we're getting to the stadium stupid early to get our PW....our Zimmer Kabob and get to our seats.  Esky knocks that insider the parker in Game 1?  Pretzel wheat was by our side.  (as an aside, the RF area during the world series in both years had the best deal in the stadium....hot chocolate with booze in a WS souvenir cup...like $11.  Best deal I've seen at a stadium.)

So that brings us to today.  The Roys fresh off getting pounded by the As and all but eliminated.....head to the liquor store to get booze for tomorrow's Qatz tailgate....what do I see for the first time in 2016?  You got it.  Pretzel Wheat.  I have to get some right?  So I did.....I get home and open one up, will it be the same?.....I swear to you, first taste I immediately flashed back to watching Esky round the bases in Game 1 from row PP of the K....then I flash back to sitting in Vegas alone watching the Royals clinch Game 5....then to my overnight flight back and making the parade.  Then I just sat there looking at this crappy shocktop logo thing wondering why I've tied the best two years of my Royals fanboi'ness to this beer.....but whatever, it is what it is.

Great times guys....don't ever, ever, ever forget it....and A-B...don't ever quit making Shocktop Pretzel Wheat.....  :emawkid:

man, oh man.  i hope he gets two outs next inning and then starts toward the dugout but after a few steps, stops with his arms outspread and then kinda glances about to see if any of the 40k people watching the game are looking at him.

you know how they had some way of tucking their shirts or something so the shirts puffed out like 2-3 inches from the back-meat of the back?  like that.

dozier looks befuddled by mlb pitches.  also, it is my belief that the pantlegs of his pants are too tight.
