i had to come home finally. westport was on fire. there were policemen standing on a firetruck. a man i do not know walked up to me and said "take your motherfucking hand and slap it on my motherfucking hand" and i did. an old lady i do not know was standing on a chair on mccoy's patio holding the same unique beer glass as me and said "oh the tripel, yeah it's the best. it's the only thing i drink" and i just cheers'd her and did not even think it was that weird. i bought a gyro and ate it and i wasn't even hungry. i hugged a middle aged couple who were making out upstairs at the beach. i kissed a giant cardboard head of johnny cueto, right in his left eye. people were drinking in the street and high fiving police officers while doing it. everyone was smiling and yelling and honking. there was a girl in a car whose body was about 85% sticking out of the sunroof and she was holding a giant royals flag. oh and fireworks everywhere. everywhere. who even has fireworks right now? everyone apparently. i love our city and i love our team.

wish I could've been there with you mocat. watched it here at home in Waldo with Mrs. CF3, J-Dub, his girl, Slimz, a few other pals. My son wanted to stay up for the game, so I let him. He's 5. We set up the TV outside and enjoyed a ballgame. lil' CF3 fell asleep early, but I woke him up for the end. Fireworks everywhere. We walked up to the Waldo bars and partied a little, but mostly just soaked it all in. Really great. Can't explain.

I have a lot of weird emotions right now. Like, all the emotions. Not anger I guess. Just happy, relief, longing, grief, sentimentality, joy, love, pride, etc

Was upstairs at Auntie Mae's. Went downstairs with one out to go, said I would like three bottles of champagne as soon as the game is over. The game was soon over, and the amazing bartender gave me said three bottles, and I handed them out to everyone upstairs to take pulls off of. It was 100 times better than when the Warriors won the Championship.
