i kinda hate being up 3-1.  no good can come of it.  win and baseball is over and there is nothing to protect us from winter's gaping maw but kstate bball.  lose and you've blown the great mathematical advantage so dearly gathered in earlier games.  being up 3-1 would be so great, if only you could pause and savor the moment, but you can't.  it's only one day and then, inexorably, comes game 5.

wow, well done

It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops.

Sounds like a couple of egg heads who need to play some fantasy football, if you ask me.  :don'tcare:

Also, I didn't see it mentioned here. Isn't the number one rule when there's only one out to not leave your base unless you're 100% sure its going to be a hit?

You might be in great shape.  Both Fox and MLB are on Southwest flights!  This could turn into a very fun flight for you, who knows :dunno:

Make sure you download their app.  Then, connect to wifi on the flight, and start the app.  Boom.  The wifi won't "turn on" on the flight until you are at full cruising speed, so don't freak out like some Canadian guy did one time in a similar situation.  He is a dumbass.

At times like these, it's important to not get too high or too low.  Unless of course we win, and then eat a ton of Halloween candy and light off some somewhat dangerous left over fourth of July fireworks in the middle of Overland Park.

Cespedes was in a tough spot on the last play because if that ball one hops to Moose, he needs to be at second to break up the double play. He was a little bit too aggressive, but the Royals made that play happen.

No, pretty much everyone says it was a mistake. They're not wrong.
