i'm not one to complain about the playing conditions.  but from the television broadcast, it certainly appears that the mets are using an illegal wind tonight.  i can't help but notice that it is rumpling the royals' uniforms more than the mets' unis, as well.

I know you know, I was being silly about Young, but he still has more mlb batting experience than the kid! We have no clue what pitcher for us is going to get hot, so you use your best hitter there when you know you're throwing a bat out there for the pitcher. We're down, not the time to play the lottery in the World Series, with a mlb debut. You know nothing about Mondesi, besides "he's a great prospect!". No reason to hold back guys that have gotten you here and have proven themselves!
