Also, I was at all postseason home games last year, and all 3 in the ALDS this year, and that was maybe the most electic crowd I've ever seen at the K. only rivals would be the Wild Card game and World Series Game 6 last year. There was the emotion of the pregame ceremony with the KCFD families, the Cueto factor, the comeback, etc. It was really fun.

It was so loud. One if the best crowds I've ever been a part of, simply amazing.

Such a fun night. Cueto dealing, my guy Rios with the big hit, Morales home run. So many great moments of joy. Well worth getting home at 1:15 am after something like that.

Now let's win another series. For anyone fortunate to go Saturday, hopefully we can meet up pre or post.

Go Roys!

So little side bar from the great game tonight on the KCFD pregame...

...Seeing the FD guys/ladies coming on the field in pregame and the standing ovation for them was pretty moving....and then to see the two groups of people behind them slowly walk out and at first not understanding who they were until they were announced as the two hero's families.  Wow.

As a kid of an inner city cop, I quickly put myself in their shoes and the emotions of how many times I was scared for my dad when he went out for his patrols...and I was lucky, my dad almost always came home on time except for one call where we were rushed full lights and sirens to the hospital due to an "incident" where they thought my dad wouldn't make it...so to see them standing there knowing the daily stresses and then them getting the real "that call" just ~24 hours ago. It was heart wrenching and admired them for being such a strong family.

Then the national anthem starts and I see the Leggio & Mesh families on the big screen with kids faces buried....I lost it guys.

Hope they felt the love and support tonight if they could feel anything other than sorrow.

Go Royals!

Do you guys think Cueto would have finished off the perfect game if Moose makes a slightly better throw or if Hos holds onto that tag? I do

I know there've been better AM sports-talk radio mornings, but this morning felt really good.  I didn't want my commute to end.
