This is the biggest thing.

I know there is plenty of time left and that how you finish (good or bad) is not predictive for how you will do in the postseason.

Its just not fun to watch the team struggle (especially when you are addicted and have to watch every night) when they haven't had a stretch this bad all season.

Exactly. I have looked forward to getting home many evenings this summer/fall to watch a game I love with a team I really enjoy. Now it's just not as much fun to settle in to watch anymore. And the chat with fellow gE-ers isn't as good when the team is struggling.

Playoff rotation is set. Medlen gets 4th spot. Might as well move Duffy to pen now and get him used to it, adds another lefty in there. JGuts is expendable and can be thrown in wherever.
