Speaking of awful announcing, Phys is just terrible on TV. He was really proud of that glass half empty pun. "Glass. His name is Glass. And his glass is always full!"

I literally have no idea who is talking other than hud and denny matthews.

HUD got better after his first season or two. Phys is better on the radio because he has less time to try and think of anything creative. Denny is totally burned out, but still great even with 30 seconds of dead air.

After initial negotiations with the Dodgers, Hochevar, and his agent Scott Boras, Hochevar suddenly switched agents to Matt Sosnick and accepted a $2.98 million signing bonus from scouting director Logan White.[4] However, the next day Hochevar changed his mind on switching agents, returning to Boras and reneging on the deal.[4] Several months of lukewarm talks continued with Hochevar pitching in an independent league (where he struck out 34 batters in 22.2 innings), but amidst much bitterness, the two sides never came close to reaching a new agreement.[5]

He entered the draft yet again in 2006 and was selected first overall by the Kansas City Royals.

he still is an embarrassment to defense, but rios seems to making fewer of the plays that made me hate him these days.  like he's just bad in the sense that he's kinda slow and doesn't get good jumps.  but the ball doesn't bounce out of his glove so much.
