My coworkers (old) keep trying to convince me how these moves could hurt the clubhouse.

You might want to switch it around in your rotation, since Zobrist is a switch hitter.  :surprised:

1) last 3 years, Zobrist OBP has been .354 .354 .354
2) his Slug is .447 this yr after being about .400 in 13' & 14'
3) So Zo has a .354 and .447 ( OBP/Slug). For comparison Moose is at .354 and .438 this year

Should we be at all concerned about the pitchers we are giving up, or are they all back-of-the-rotation guys at best, anyway?

So, Zobrist fixes the platoon in left until Gordon gets back, and assuming Gordon gets healthy, does this mean Zobrist moves to right as we head into the post-season?

I mean, defensively, a healthy Gordon, Cain, and Zobrist may be even more formidable than what we had last year...

Maybe 2nd base if Rios keeps batting as well as he has recently.

I think having a guy who can play so many positions will help us out a lot when we have to play NL rules during the WS.

If Zobrist doesn't play 40+ games at 2nd I will be disappointed.  Omar's gets on base twice for every three times Zobrist does.

So what's the lineup look like with him at 2B?  Do we bump Alcedes?

I would imagine Zobrist in the OF and at 2nd when Gordon comes back.  At that point, maybe we have a plan devised for Rios/Dyson/Orlando.

I think having a guy who can play so many positions will help us out a lot when we have to play NL rules during the WS.

Did not think of this.  Only 3 games but would be 3 of the most important.  How is this guy not in the NL?

WTF is this? Leave Esky isn't moving anywhere in the lineup or on the field.

I'd bat the guy with the .354 OBP lead off, but I'm not going to question Ned either way.

Guys, this trade was a waste if anyone besides Infante spends most of the time on the bench because of this.

I'm all for inserting 'Bristy into the bottom third of the lineup but I don't want to mess with a proven recipe for success at the top/middle.

Bat him 9th and he's a 2nd leadoff hitter. This team was already great so why try to reinvent the wheel?

He is gonna play a lot in Left for the next 5-6 weeks.  But he can give infante/Moose even Esky a day off Whenever needed

If anyone outside of Salvy gets hurt from now til End of season..... Zobrist can fill in and start

If no one gets hurt after Gordo returns..... i would think he starts more at 2B than he does at RF
