Cartier just likes winners :dunno:
Then why the hell was he cheering on the Royals the last 30 years? :dunno:

I gave the heat to KK via text message during our ass whipping of his team yesterday. May be out for revenge.

when you know you can't hit a guy, why doesn't everyone just dedicate themselves to taking as many pitches as possible and see if you can get him out of the game before the ninth?

i'd think that a mlb level hitter could foul off a lot of pitches, if that's what they were trying to do.

Yeah, you'd think this would be a winning strategy against any really good starter all the time.  I'm not sure the skill is actually that prevalent among major league hitters.  See: bunting

that was a weird play, I would guess they saw his intent to go to third then didn't retag.  I mean I'll take it but that was close

they should have pr dyson last inning to see if they could cut it to one.  baseball's thing about "we're down several runs, so there's no point in trying to score just one" is one of the stupidest things i've ever heard.

the royals have 6 players with 3 HRs each. are you going to look me square in the face and tell me rios wouldn't have exactly 3 home runs right now if he wasn't injured?

posse stat of the night...
Last 22 starts for Volquez, he has allowed 2ERs or less in 18 of them.  14 of those 22 starts, he pitched 6+ Inn and gave up 0 or 1 ERs. We have an elite AL starter in Blue

B Team today. Backup in RF, CF, and SS. Frankly I'd just assume start Kratz today, give Salvy a rest unless we need a PH in late innings, but that's not happening.

Real ring or the fan version?

Man it was cool seeing the parking lot full 3+ hours before first pitch and a sold out stadium in May.

Why would you give anyone a rest the day before a bye?
