thank god for the medlen signing, the volquez signing looks semi-acceptable as a backup plan (an overpaid chen, basically). it'd suck ass if he was actually being counted on.

now you can just hope that at least one of medlen, zimmer or finnegan is able to take most of those innings. and that none of the other four are down for huge chunks of the year. there's enough probability there for some hope.
