I feel bad for Billy. He has been the team's best player for 4 different losing seasons, just waiting for the team to fill in around him. Now that we have a good team, he just forgot how to hit.
I also feel bad for Dayton. 100% of Royals fans would have called Billy the Royals most dependable and consistent hitter (albeit flawed, not enough power, slow, etc). So Dayton gets the team together and now Billy is in decline. The timing of building a team from ashes is just maddening.
