Another possible explanation. The entire thing is fixed...even ground balls that hit 2nd base and wild pitches that hit the backstop and carom off so quickly that our rookie SS get caught. Those are part of the fix.

Perez seems like he is good at framing pitches for KC. That was a clear ball that he tricked the ump into calling strike 3 on Suarez.

Dear Tigers

We suck we suck we suck we suck we suck we suck.

It's my biggest fear we're heading into another Tigers depression. It's the only thing I've known for the majority of my life. I've only had about 8 years of positive Tigers baseball.

Greg holland has a 1.35 era, so this proves that he has given up a run before. Tigers will tie it up.

Holland has some gas, but VMart has been one of the best hitters in baseball this year at hitting gas.

just imagine how awful and nasally "gas" sounded coming out of this guy's face hole ^

This ump is a royals fan. He has to be he's back there pumping his fist after strikeouts.

 

Davis-Holland is about as good as it gets in the 8th and 9th innings.
