Sounds like a wonderful opportunity, but unfortunately I can't. Are you taking part in zubazpalooza??

Going Saturday, tho!  :Woot:

Guys I want Moose to do well as much as anyone. I saw him last year at a Special Olympics event at the K. He was the ONLY current player to come up and see these guys.

But that little game he played postgame wasn't a stud move. It came off as insecure and defensive.

I didn't see the postgame, but if it went down like others have said, then Moose is a punk!

What, he is mad at the media suggesting he should go to the minors?  Uhhh, duhhhhh!  It's cause you are in like, what, your 5th year here and you still suck?

Was that his first multi hit game of the year?  You guys act like he is freaking all star after getting 2 hits in a game.   :sdeek: :jerk: :blah:

I have a tough time getting worked up about that, mainly because Hos and Moose aren't exactly Sherlock and Mycroft out there. The jock-bro saw how the "smart" people around him (Ned and Dayton) treat and talk about the media, and decided to follow their example in the best way he could.

True. The comment from Dayton about Bullpen and Starters last week was more childish.

Why was moose mad?
Cause ppl talk bad about him on the media and social network cause he's hitting .150 and now he thinks he's vindicated himself. Pfft.

Had you pegged as a #teammoose guy for sure. Huh

I am, but I listen to BITB too much and I tend to take sides with them at times. I mean, It was funny, but his batting average isn't. He's going to take a little heat.

he has taken a crap load of heat all season, wacky. like, constantly. it's all 810/610 talk about. how he can't make it, he should be sent down, cut, traded, whatever. NON STOP. he gets 2 hits and all 3 RBIs in a game, and the media comes up "hey buddy! how was the big hit? how'd it feel? maybe it took some pressure off you?" if i were him i'd have handled it way worse. he basically just gave the double birds to them. and they absolutely LOST their crap man. unreal. you tell me who is the immature party right now. they are still talking about it all day on 810. they are just besides themselves that a player would react that way.

the one thing i don't like is how they are lumping the fans in with the people who should be upset. i'm not upset. moose did not double bird me. it's only the media.

The only problem I have with Moose yesterday is that it happened in KC. That poor kid would have killed himself already if he played for New York, Boston or Philly. Getting your feelings hurt by the Kansas City media is adorable.

Lol at the notion that KC is some kind of tough media market.

JFC, the Royals haven't been to the playoffs for 29 years and have been the laughing stock of the MLB for much of it.  This is the year, the expectation is to win now by the fans and the media.  The guys that are here are expected to perform.  Moose was the the goddamn number #2 overall pick and he is now in his seventh year and has the second worst batting average in the entire major leagues.  This butthurt by Ned, Dayton, and Mike Moustakas as if the media doesn't have the temerity to question this franchise or ask pointed questions, is what is comical.

Moose needs to worry less about the criticism, which is completely deserved, and more about getting his effing batting average over .200 and be a contributing part of this ball club.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

yeah the idea that any and all media criticism of the Royals is unfair is ridiculous.

i never said it was unfair.

also i am pretty sure Moustakas is incredibly worried about getting his batting average above .200

you don't think that?

Of course I think that. But yesterday he acted all smug like he accomplished something. Its one freaking game. And please, the next time Ned points out he leads the team in HRs, someone punch his throat. Its just means your team has no power, not that Moose is good.

"Tell us about the big double you had today" was a bad question?
