They had a rough ridin' bottle of Billy's BBQ sauce in the dugout for big moments in the game.  You don't do that for a guy you hate.

The team did seem pretty damn tight last year.  May be the reason I will miss Santana the most, dude always looked like he was having a blast in the dugout in between starts.

had a pretty funny convo with a guy that knows some major leaguers including mark teahan and he said that everybody pretty much just lols at butler and doesn't really like him. basically just that he is a dumb hick and all that sort of stuff. like seriously teammates don't really care for the guy.

If you're going to fanningbrag about your dork friend knowing MLB players, don't name drop Mark Teahan if you want studs like me and my pals to give it credibility.

I think konerko was the other guy and maybe all those guys live in Arizona in the offseason or something. honest to god though i was pretty hamered when he we telling me all this.  anyway, other players don't care for him.

I also have an inside source that told me Billy is a first class a-hole off the field.

I think all 3 are available. Will take, as long is it is only for one of them. Preferably Davis or Crow...

Very meh, not much of an upgrade from Lough/Maxwell (especially power wise), what is a park adjusted batting stat, so we could see how he compares when not playing in CO? I guess if you assume Cain is gonna get hurt again it would be good to have him in the mix, as long as they only have to give up one pitcher. Does this potential move reek of the royals being tapped out on their budget?

Last 3 years away stats:
BA: .256
OBP: .350
SLG: .380
OPS: .730

Last 3 years home stats:
 BA: .296
OBP: .396
SLG: .496
OPS: .892

He draws walks at a much higher rate than Maxwell/Lough, but the lack of power and home/away splits are concerning

His RHP/LHP splits are much more concerning.

 BA: .268
OBP: .365

He's a switch hitter, so he's got that going for him, the LHP/RHP doesn't concern me as much as how much he's sucked away from Coors

Don't know what you expect to get back for a middle reliever fellas. If it works its a good deal.

Agreed.  I think it'd be an upgrade.  From what I've heard from Rockies fans out here he has "it" when he's on, but hes very streaky.  They still believe he's got tons of potential.

I also have an inside source that told me Billy is a first class a-hole off the field.

I can't really say much about that.  I do know that my kids have signed t-shirts with a ton of Royals names on them (Hosmer, Moose, etc.), but Butler just mushed everyone looking for autographs that day.

That's all I've got.
