Its really quite remarkable how hard this team makes everything. Like literally everything. The idiotic positions/decisions from the top down are infuriating. It was unbelievable at the time when they went to and then won the world series. Looking back at before and then after that time makes it seem nearly impossible. At least with teams like Pittsburgh, Oakland, etc, you know what you are getting. This organization actually tries and we get this crap!

That's my general take. I def don't love them all not getting vaxxed, but also like making this some sort of giant firestorm is a bit over the top. Whatever, they definitely though have proven they (and Whit) don't really care both about money nor health so whatever, not worth caring about them

They don't care much about winning, either, which sort of explains their record.

I think these dudes think the vaccine is a net negative health outcome for them and are willing to lose significant short term money for it. That’s the only logical explanation for them not getting it.

The Royals were projected to be a close to .500ish team this year in a weak divisions with expanded playoffs this year, that puts them in striking distance, but 10 guys decided months ago that they were throwing these 4 games away.

Which publication had the royals predicted as a .500 ball club? I remember glancing at a few and seeing low 70’s most places for wins and I don’t think anyone had them as a division winner or wild card.

Whit Merrifield isn’t Royal. He’s a loser.

At least the players who say they’ll never get vaccinated are consistent, although foolish and selfish. But to say “yeah if i was on the Yankees or Astros or whatever I’d get vaccinated but not for these cowtown bumpkins” is something CF3 takes personal.

CF3 remembers. His brain in his exceptionally shaped skull keeps detailed records. I’m not about to let this one go.
