But these games happen and we are still off to a 4-1 start on this road trip. Honestly, finishing 6-3 would still be great.

August schedule is brutal, September is a smorgasbord of feasting on the chisox, twins, tigers, blue jays. I feel good about getting a WC spot. Do not feel good about winning the central.

Tough, but not brutal. 13 games vs several .500ish teams. 6 vs Indians. 3 vs a good Rockies team. 6 vs bad White Sox & As.

Those 9 straight vs Indians, Rockies, Indians could be very telling.

Yep. Unearned run in the 5th because of an error. Another unearned run because of a PB in the 7th. Costly WP in 8th and 10th. Walking first 2 batters in the 7th. Poor tag on final play. Offense had few mistakes too, but we put an 8 on the board.

We had won 29 of last 31 when scoring 4+ runs.

Rockies are a good team, but they have cooled off. 12-19 in last 31 games.
They have lost 16 of last 20 on the road. Hopefully their road woes will still be going on when they come here in 3 weeks.

Cleveland play any/Boston 14 times. Play 4 at TB. Colorado for 2. At Twins for 3. Then us 6 times.
That's there next 29 games after today. 22 of those 29 are current playoff teams
