Mondesi will replace Escobar next year, unless we feel like we can make a mad push this year. Cuthbert's value has went from potential everyday 3rd baseman to zero. So there's nothing there now. Without packaging those two and a future 2nd rounder it will be hard to get a HR trade.

Gordo .709 OPS (.320 OBP, .389 Slug) in his last 33 games.  He was .456 OPS his first 35 games.
Better production for sure, but still like to see him more in the .750-.760 range, following the disasterous start.

Cuthbert never looked like a starting 3b for a good team. Below average hitter last year, okay fielder. Escobar has been the worst hitter in baseball history over the last few years, and you can't trade draft picks.  There is no value there.
