Offensive numbers have gotten better, but I don't feel that much better than I did when we were 10-20. Had we not blown that game last Friday, my mood would be little better having won 10 of 15. That loss just was a punch in the gut.

Last 15 games --
Moose-Cain-Hos-Salvy-Boni-Whit-Moss are at .313 with 21 HRs. Time to put Whit back at Leadoff. He is 14 of last 39.  Soler still isn't being real productive but .341 OBP .333 Slug in his last 12 starts is not dreadful.  Esky/Gordo at .175 in those 15 games,  and while Gordo does have some BBs, he's got no XBase hits

The Royals should send Alex to Omaha until he gets his swing back.

SD, do us a favor and head on out to checkout Bubba. I know it won't last, but he's hot right now.

Are there people who think Rex brings profound insight to the broadcast?

Like I said offense doing better, but....
May 16,17,23,24 Royals with an impressive 3 runs 17 hits vs 4 NYY starters.
Tanaka going tomorrow. He has given up 21 ER 34 Hits in last 18.0 Innings. Who knows what to expect, but a split would be nice.

It's a entertainment business, so yes.

This has been out there forever ago. 03' huh? Let's throw him in a fire.

Calling Alex Gordon a complete ass is uncalled for, regardless of whatever drunk George Brett story accompanies this. He's a good dude and good for the community in KC

Alex's deal should be evidence that signing Cain will just bring you heartache. Let him finish his career in Texas or Atlanta or whatever and look forward to him returning to be put in the Royals HOF and you can get a sweet bobblehead

That's fine. I guess that my stance is that baseball isn't some mystical game that is a metaphor for life. Some of his commentary is from a standpoint that "baseball is a game that no one can figure out." He sometimes says things that feel like an attempt at the profound and are not. I was not trying to disparage him. He gets on my nerves at times, but I was genuinely curious if there are people that hear him speak and are in awe.

Hahaha ok. Yes his job is to entertain and he does that. I meant no malice. (Still my word TBT)

And I wasn't mentioning the arrest as an attempt to shame him. I just didn't know about it. The person who turned him in can get mumped as far as I'm concerned.

I did not like Hud at first. Mainly because of what the Royals did to Frank White, but HUd was super enjoyable when we finally started winning. I'm sure he's sounds annoying on a year like this. It's Ryan who can get mumped IMO.

I read his book about his depression/anxiety and really started to like him for coming out with it. Then he gets the right meds and is just a natural dick to Rex. Doesn't seem right, man. He's kinda like Grienke. We help the SOB out and then he turns against us once his ticker starts operating properly again.  :shakesfist:
