Last night I was visibly angry. Like, I still think its in our best interest to suck balls and rebuild but a part of me still wants to win every game. We looked completely clueless with a bat in our hands.
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

I wonder if this means Soler is going on the linger DL or they're sending Dozier back down (had no idea he was even called up, but appeared in the AtBat box).

He isn't, he was put on the 60 day DL with an oblique injury in early April

Pffft. There is loads more excitement in a 0-0 soccer match than that game last night.

Yes those other three do. I'm a little glad most of the team is sucking so Gordo isn't sticking out like a sore thumb. I'm selfish that way.

Yeah i was listening to an interview with the bpRoyals guy and he was talking about Cain and his walk rate and number of infield singles. Eventually pitchers are going to start challenging him as he isn't hitting it hard and the walks will come way down.

yeah nothing gets the juices flowing quite like 90 minutes of light jogging and kicking where nothing ever happens
Agree to disagree CF3. The only baseball games I watch are the Royals. I watch soccer matches with no vested interest.

So Mondo & Paulo down.  They are both going down because  we need a 13th pitcher because the Pen has been used a lot with 2 extra inning games.   My issue is last night, they clearly knew sending Mondo down was coming very soon.  Yet Ned still let him lead off the 8th vs a lefty.  I don't know if Whit would have done anything but it's clear his chances of getting a single or double are much higher.  Then you have top of the order up. Gordon did go on to single with 1 out.  Been nice to have seen Whit get a chance to get on base before the Gordo single. Everyone knew there was about a 5-10% chance Mondo was gonna get on

Omit the 8-3 loss to Oakland. 11 of the last 12 games, our starters have a 0.98 and Pen has a 2.36 ERA.
Yet we only went 7-4 with superb pitching all around. I do agree with FAN, it is lots of fun seeing our starters and some of our Bullpen pitch like a bunch of bosses.   This offense has had 3 players produce. Everyone else has sucked. It was that way after game 6, game 10 and now thru 15 games.  Hos has taken a lot of the blame (rightfully so) because he hits right in the middle of those 3 guys who are hitting well and has had countless chances to step up.

IMO its really just 2 guys producing. Moose and Salvy. Cain is just doing his best Paulo 2016 impression. Singles galore.

Baseballs use of the words inside and outside. How did that start as it makes no sense.

Pitch off the plate away from the batter us outside of what? The strike zone? Yes. But so is a pitch that is called inside. Inside of what?

How does one stay inside of a baseball? How does one hit a ball with the inside of the bat?

Proximal and distal ends of the bat make more sense. No clue on how refer to pitches. But nothing is inside or outside as far as I can tell.

I'm just becoming bored with crappy Royals baseball and finding other things to be grumpy about.

Cain entering tonight had a OBP of .462, hitting .340 and has 6 steals.  Kind of an insult saying he is being Paulo 2016.  The XB hits haven't come yet but when your OPS is 16th best in AL.....I will take that all day

Soler hit a dong in AAA last night.  :emawkid:

Also, Bubba is definitely still in the system and a regular in the AAA order.
